A letter of inquiry, also known as a prospecting letter or letter of interest, is sent to companies that may be hiring, but, haven't listed specific job openings.
Your inquiry letter should contain information on why the company interests you and why your skills and experience would be an asset to the company. Also provide information on how you will follow-up and where you can be reached.
And now I will give you an example of the inquiry letter. I'm using the Full Block Style to make this letter. And this is the example form Me (Yodi Adhari) :

Dear
Sirs,
I am writing this letter to know about the new
fertilizer product that has been launched recently. I have heard a lot about
the fertilizer and would like to know more. Is there any way you can send some
brochure about the product? I am a customer of your outlet from past 1 years
and I buy new products on regular basis and like the fragrance and after
effects of the products. Your products are really genuine and show the result
as you show in your advertisement. I have always liked the quality and the
customers services provide to us at your company and I find the price also
reasonable.
Please send complete details
about the product and so that we can decide with my office partner what to buy
and also I can provide it to my company. Please forward the brochure to the
address given above. I look forward for your reply
Thank you for your attention
to my request.
Sincerely,
Yodi Adhari
Director of the Company
